The Homosexuals
Samen met een handvol andere bands zoals This Heat en Swell Maps, tekenden The Homosexuals eind jaren zeventig de lijnen uit voor Britse experimentele muziek. Ze anticipeerden een hele beweging die later postpunk gedoopt zou worden. Na jaren stilte dook de groep plots opnieuw op in 2003. Voorman Bruno Wizard begon samen met zijn oorspronkelijke co-writer Anton Hayman weer nieuwe nummers te schrijven voor een steeds wisselende line-up. Nog steeds een brok oldcuntpunkdynamiet!
Together with a couple of other bands such as This Heat and Swell Maps, The Homosexuals set the tone for British experimental music at the end of the 70s. They anticipated a movement that was later generally known as postpunk. After years of silence the band came back in 2003. Frontman Bruno Wizard started to write new songs (some of them with his old co-writer Anton Hayman) for different line-ups. Still one solid piece of old cunt punk dynamite!
