Bill Orcutt
In de jaren ’90 schreef Bill Orcutt samen met zijn vrouw Adris Hoyos een stukje noisegeschiedenis als Harry Pussy. Rond de tijd dat die band op zijn einde liep, maakte hij zijn eerste soloplaat “Solo cd”. Dertien jaar na die plaat kwam hij opeens met “A New Way To Old Debts” op zijn eigen kersverse Palilalia label. Met een akoestische gitaar zonder A- en D-snaar, downtuning en wat keelgeluiden verrasste hij opeens weer vriend en vijand. Volgens velen het hoogtepunt van het laatste Colour Out Of Space festival. Toen in duo met Paul Hession (zie KRAAKfestival 2008), nu in zijn eentje op het podium.

Thirteen years later he suddenly released a new 7” and a new full lp on his own Palilalia imprint, amazing friend and foe with his acoustic style. Downtuned, leaving the A and D string out and practicing abstract throat sounds, many lauded his performance with Paul Hession (KRAAKfestival 2008) on the latest Colour Out of Space edition as the highlight of the festival. KRAAK invited him to rip it down all by himself.
