	BRUCE NAUMAN [usa] & CHARLEMAGNE PALESTINE [usa] Both Nauman and Palastine are commonly regarded as innovators of early minimalism. We will project their first video’s. Bruce Nauman is one of most important and influential figures in contemporary art. His seminal films and videotapes from the ‘60s and ‘70s are among the most innovative contributions to media art. The works of Nauman are minimal and conceptual. Charlemagne Palestine is a pioneer of experimental and minimalist music as well as video art. Two important people that still inspires a whole generation of musicians. Van beide kunstenaars worden hun eerste video’s geprojecteerd. Bruce Nauman is één van belangrijkste en invloedrijkste figuren in de hedendaagse kunst. Zijn rudimentaire films en videobanden van de jaren zestig en zeventig behoren tot de meest vernieuwende media art-bijdragen. De werken van Nauman zijn minimaal en conceptueel. Charlemagne Palestine is een pionier in experimentele en minimale muziek maar ook, en dat is minder gekend, video art. Twee belangrijke mensen die een hele generatie muzikanten nog altijd inspireren.

	PAPER RAD & PAPER RODEO [usa] Artist collective Paper Rad synthesizes popular material from television, video games, and advertising, reprogramming these references with an neo-primitivist digital aesthetic. As member Jacob Ciocci writes: “In the ‘70s and ‘80s cartoons and consumer electronics were bigger and trashier than ever and freaked kids out... Now these kids are getting older and are freaking everybody else out by using this same throw-away trash.” Paper Rodeo is a magazine from Providence, Rhode Island, that is vaguely linked to the video-collective Paper Rad. Paper Rodeo gathers all manner of fucked-up, leftfield comics and graphics into one trashy psychedelic mess.		Artiestencollectief Paper Rad gebruikt materiaal van televisie, video en advertentie en herwerkt deze referenties met een neo-primitieve digitale esthetiek. 	DORIS LASCH & URSULA PONN [ger] Doris Lasch and Ursula Ponn are both born in Germany but live and work in Brussels. The duo uses daily occurrences and manipulates them, to receive a new perception from the spectator.		Doris Lasch en Ursula Ponn zijn beiden geboren in Duitsland maar wonen momenteel in Brussel. Het duo maakt veel gebruik van dagdagelijkse situaties en manipuleert de beelden zodat ze om een andere perceptie van de kijker vragen.
