	CHARALAMBIDES [usa] Charalambides are Tom and Christina Carter, sometimes accompanied by pedal-steel guitarist Heather Leigh. Since 1991, they molded exceptionally fragile free folk / psych songs with accoustic and electric guittars for labels like Siltbreeze, Eclipse and their own Wholly Other label. Last year they were rightuously hailed in by the Kranky-label that re-issued Unknown Spin. Charalambides at last, in your face and in your ears, where they belong, more than anything. 	CHARLES HAYWARD [uk] Charles Hayward, drummer and singer with a status to worship. Set the tone with This Heat, almost fifteen years before date, for almost everything that is now labelled as postrock. If you’re asking where Gastr Del Sol got it’s inspiration, put on ThisHeat and Deceit. Hayward can very well be put next to those giants like Bill Laswell and Fred Frith, to put down a piece of Power-impro nowhere else to be seen. How about a little get together with Keiji Haino. Works with minimal beats like Jetone, but opens a can of adventurous sounds like only Tim Hecker himself can. The press puts his new record between “Endless Summer’ of Fennesz and “Diskont 94” of Oval, but from us his record gets the price “best electronics of the year”. De heren uit Richmond, Virginia, zijn geïnspireerd door muziek uit diverse culturen, voegen de nodige scheut Americana toe en laten zich verder door niemand voorschrijven hoe ze dat moeten samenbrengen. Voor wie labelgenoten Vibracathedral Orchestra en Sunroof weet te smaken... of juist niet. 	TAPE [s] The brothers Johan and Andreas Bertling, and Tomas Hallonsten together form the band Tape. They use environmental sounds, accoustic instruments and pc to surprise you with heavenly melodies through their electro-accoustic tapistry of sounds. They just released “Milieu” for the Swedish label Häpna (David Grubbs, Oren Ambarchi, Pillow...). Don’t start taking Haldol if you hear echoes of Gastr Del Sol or Christian Fennesz, they just found a way to deal with these creatively. Floktronica? Anyone?		De broers Johan en Andreas Bertling en Tomas Hallonsten vormen samen Tape. Gebruiken omgevingsgeluid, akoestische instrumenten, en computer om bij momenten verrassend mooie melodieën doorheen hun elektro-akoestische klanktapijt te sturen. Brachten zopas “Milieu” uit voor het Zweedse Häpna-label (David Grubbs, Oren Ambarchi, Pillow...). Wie echo’s van Gastr Del Sol of Christian Fennesz hoort heeft geen ongelijk, er kan dus toch creatief worden mee omgegaan.... Folktronica iemand?
	JORIS VERMEIREN & SEN JAN [b] EN \ Belgian, electronic, minimal, and within the best Chain Reaction style. They supprised Dwayne Sodahberk and Kid 606 during the last Kraak-event October 2003, and set the right electronic tone to the Borderlines-event. They earned their spot on the (K-RAA-K)3 Festival!		Belgisch, electronisch, minimaal en in de beste Chain Reaction stijl. Verrastten Dwayne Sodahberk en Kid 606 tijdens een kraak-event in oktober 2003 en gaven de juiste elektronische toon aan het Borderlines-event. Een plaatsje op het (K-RAA-K)3 Festival is verdiend.
	MICHAEL YONKERS [usa] Michael Yonkers, legendary musician from Minneapolis. Finally gets recognition from labels as De Stijl and, yes, Sub Sop (check Microminiature Love), the recognition he deserves since 1967 even for his progressive euhm... fucked up garage psych. Is often spotted in the company of Wolf Eyes and Six Organs of Admittance, and will, despite of serious health problems, honour the Kraak Fest with a unique soloconcert. Imagine the Stooges, playing under water on an Indian sarod with Jello Biafra instead of Iggy, and three speeds down... Something like that...		Michael Yonkers, legendarisch muzikant uit Minneapolis. Krijgt via labels als De Stijl en jawel Sub Pop (check Microminiature Love) eindelijk de erkenning die zijn vooruitstrevende euh... fucked up garage psych al sinds 1967 verdient. Wordt geregeld gesignaleerd in het gezelschap van Wolf Eyes en Six Organs of Admittance en zal ondanks ernstige gezondheidsproblemen het (K-RAA-K)3 Fest vereren met een uniek soloconcert. 	WOLF EYES [usa] Wolf Eyes‘ roots lie within the cdr- and tape-underground, but meanwhile they became a cult band. This group from Michigan combines metal, punk and noise to one impressive power. Wolf Eyes belongs to the new edition of post-metal-combos like Lightning Bolt, Sightings, Sunn O)))... Heavy tones, deep, stretched and layered electronic glitches, ultra-raw tapemanipulations and fucked up guitars. Deafening, painfull,... a true sonic nightmare.		De roots van Wolf Eyes liggen binnen de cdr- en cassette-underground, ondertussen zijn ze reeds uitgegroeid een ware cultgroep. Deze groep uit Michigan combineert metal, punk en noise tot één indrukwekkende power. Wolf Eyes behoort tot de nieuwe lichting post-metal-combo’s, als Lightning Bolt, Sightings, Sunn O)))... Zware tonen, diepe, uitgerekte en gelaagde elektronische glitches, ultra-ruwe bandmanipulaties en fucked-up gitaren, voor niets deinst deze band terug.. Oorverdovend, pijnlijk,... een echte sonische nachtmerrie.
